What to verify before you buy

Since Norway’s regulatory basis differs from EU member states, confirm directly with any vendor whether their EAA-focused claims are relevant to you at all, versus simply relying on their underlying WCAG 2.1 AA and EN 301 549 coverage, which maps onto Norway’s own requirements regardless of EU membership. The 2026 WebAIM Million study found 95.9% of home pages had at least one detectable WCAG failure, a reminder to verify any vendor’s stated coverage against your own site rather than the sales page.
